On behalf of MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO),  I present the Annual Report for the year of 2021-2022, 2022-2023 & 2023-2024 to the all board members as well as the higher authorities wherever it may concern also take the opportunity to express my gratitude to the remaining Team’s cooperation, dedication and sincere services towards the organization.

As a brief introduction of the Society, MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO)is been registered under Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 with the Registration No. RFS- RS/DAR/247/L/24 of 2019-2020 Functioning From Dalgaon, Darrang(Assam)-784116

The Financial year 2021-2022, 2022-2023 & 2023-2024 was  eventful years for MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO) where we have initiated various formal and informal activities such as Cultural Development of the region as well as for holistic development of Poor BPL Family and their Children for education, free training to youths and helped them to get Vision on their life , to adopt, encourage and motivate for self reliance and to Promote Clean Environment and Safai Abhijan.

We from MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO) aims to Promote Arts & Culture, Social development, Women Empowerment, to Provide All round Help and Assistance in regards of education for the BPL people who are deprived from Proper education and Skill based training through awareness programme and workshop. we try to promote positive living, mental health and emotional well-being in society as well as advancement in learning and understanding of Modern Education, Modern Business and Modern Livelihood by assisting them giving proper guidance.

In short our Main Objectives of the Society are as follows –

ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR  2023-2024, 2022-2023, & 2021-2022:

·       Corona Pendemic Relief: During Covid 19 peak time we have helped many people by providing food and livelihood, transportation and ration items etc.

·       Yoga Day Celebration: 

As a social responsibility we are from “MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO)” have Celebrated Sports Day on 21st june 2021 to make our young generation fit and healthy.

Honorable President of  MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO) Mizanur Rahman Sir elaborated the need and significance of Yoga, Sports among our youth generation. Additionally honorable president quoted as that by learning Yoga and keeping our health fit we can elaborate our nation with exponential growth in terms of economical development.

·        Environment Day & Cultural programme :

To aware people to protect and clean Environment, To empower Society in Arts and Culturally, To Empower our minds and skills we have Organized  a Cultural MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO) on Feb 2022.

·       Motivational and Skill Development Training:

In the month of March 2023 we have organized an awareness programme among students to motivate to to train their skill .

Secretary and President elaborated the Significances of the day and reason behind the Programme.

·       Relief for Poor flood affected People:

At the starting of the year 2023 even though we are occasionally use to distribute food and ration items to the economically weaker section people surrounding Darrang Area in collaboration and nearby so that they can also have some foods during their hardship.

With the same spirit our Honorable President and secretary Organized a Relief Drive as to profess the deed.

·       Safai  Abhiyan and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav:-

During the Month of September 2024, We are from “MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO)” Have organized many Safai Abhijan (Cleanliness Drive) in Darrang Jamduar and Nearby locality to inspire people to clean the roads and surroundings to have a healthy environment and pollutions free air.

       It is observed that many illness and diseases occurred in human body are just because of lack of Cleanliness and unclean surrounding. That is why we have started this mission as “Safai Abhiyan” to clean our surroundings and to motivate people to do the same.

·        Organized Awarness camp on Plantation Cleanliness:

As a Social Responsibility , Our NGO MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SOCIETY (METS NGO), has been undertaking many selfless social works such as Plantation camp and Health Checkup Drive. The same way a mass health camp and Blood Donation drive has been undertaken on 24th march 2024.

In our Rural area of Darrang, we have motivated people to plant trees and encourage for the plantation to make a safe and green environment.

In a words, till now our Organizations have arranged more than 200 awareness programme and Assisted Many Women, Students, Children’s & individuals to get their Right protected, Education and motivate them to be self reliant as well as self employed. Successfully we are providing society a handful support in every aspects and a Positive Lifestyle.
